At the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, the terroir of the Ensédune wines is characterized by one of the warmest and driest climates in France. Proud of a thousand-year-old tradition, the Ensédune winegrowers of Vin de Pays d’Oc were eager to develop their vineyards by acclimatizing grape varieties from various other regions.
This 100% Malbec is impressive and vibrant. An unoaked Malbec with fresh, berry fruit notes, and some cherry florality. Fruit-driven with a unique complexity that is highlighted by a hint of pepper and delicious meatiness. This would pair beautifully with leaner, herbaceous meat dishes (think herb crusted pork or garlic rosemary chicken thighs).
